Storage Unit Cancellations
Customers may cancel their storage rental agreement by providing Kwick Storage with one full calendar month’s written notice.
The notice period will commence from the first day of the month following receipt of the written cancellation notice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Rental charges remain payable throughout the notice period, and customers will remain responsible for all obligations under the Storage Rental Agreement until the cancellation process has been completed.
Conditions for Cancellation
To successfully cancel a storage rental agreement, customers must ensure that:
- All rental fees, administration fees, and any other charges are paid in full;
- The required one calendar month’s written notice has been provided;
- The storage unit is fully vacated by the agreed termination date;
- The storage unit is left in a clean and satisfactory condition; and
- Any access devices, keys, locks, or other Kwick Storage property (where applicable) are returned.
Refundable Deposits
Where a refundable deposit has been paid, the deposit may be refunded following cancellation, provided that:
- The account is fully paid up;
- The required notice period has been observed;
- The unit has been vacated and inspected; and
- No damage, cleaning costs, or other charges are outstanding.
Kwick Storage reserves the right to deduct any outstanding amounts or damages from the refundable deposit before processing any refund.
Early Vacating
Vacating a storage unit before the end of the required notice period does not exempt the customer from rental charges applicable during the notice period.
